where was I ..............

Hi.. how are you all.. well I hope.. and enjoying some time with your stamps.. I keep trying to make time as there is so much I want to do. Found a large bag of GB last night... some 1000, no maybe 2000 stamps.. I don't even know where I got them from.. all I know is I have no time at present to sort. But lets make a few minutes to write about stamps

I got a letter with a press clipping from Carol in the US.... the press clipping was about the block of four hat postcard rate stamps.. circa 1998... the lick and click stamps ( oh how American derrgghh) I only have a poor black and white scan and the stamps are damaged anyway.. Anyone have a decent picture of these.. would be worth seeing..

Sold for close to US$800......... apparently a noteworthy sale, especially when you see the stamps and how damaged they were.. I believe there is no evidence these stamps were ever issued so that might explain the price.. somewhat.. do you have any that you bought and just forgt about like winning the lottery to find them

And finally.. I have sold all good copies of the A380 First Flight Cover Sin-Syd.. I have one reject left .. by my standards, . it has a water drop smudging the ink on the image of the A380 in flight . shame but hey these things happen,, and for the Syd-Sin I think I have two covers left.. I have some other covers left .. but they are all signed by crew or pilot(s).

Anyone want prices please email me... On ebay a A380 flight saftey card is selling for over 50 GB Pounds... I sold my first flight covers for half that .. and I think you got something worth collecting... I just wish I could write what I think of the seller and buyer of the safety card and why.. I think I can prove online idiocy. oh well it takes all sorts to make a world go round... oh and the same goes for some stamps related items.. you have to think through what is being shown and what is claimed and I guarentee you will find you are being conned... don't believe me.. write to me for details.. I dare not publish here in case some idiot tries to sue me..

According to the following link, the Hat stamps w/ letter H were issued for rate increase IN 1998. Although the same stamp w/ yellow back ground was printed, it was never issued. It is not listed inthe Postal Service Guide to US Stamps 31 ed (2004). Of interest is that the other H stamps are self adhesive.
